This 130-year-old place of worship in downtown Hamilton has undergone a complete restoration of the building envelope. The scope of work included masonry re-pointing and replacement, restoration to the leaded glass windows, roof replacement, new exterior doors, some foundation re-pointing, and necessary structural repairs.
Interior renovations aim to create a more welcoming entry to the church building, add visual connectivity between spaces, and improve communal worship space in the sanctuary. This work also included nursery upgrades, a new prayer room, kitchen upgrades, a new kitchenette, improvements to accessibility throughout the building, increased storage capacity, and site improvements. These improvements throughout this facility will allow for greater durability, comfort, connections between spaces, and greater flexibility for this growing congregation in downtown Hamilton.
