The Mill Block will be a mixed-income, intergenerational community located in the heart of New Hamburg, ON.
The New Hamburg Mill represents progress in the New Hamburg community. This historic mill property was built in 1905 and continued to function as a flour and then feed mill until the owner built a new mill plant outside of town and LYNC purchased the property in 2022. We are excited to keep many historical features while breathing new life into the building and surrounding area, with the addition of 31 much-needed affordable apartments in the community.
These beautiful and thoughtfully planned spaces will increase community connections for an equitable housing community which will be situated on the 2nd & 3rd floors. The Mill is located in the downtown area of New Hamburg, the heart of the community and we are proud to be part of its continued renewal. The location is walkable to grocery stores, pharmacies, a hardware store, doctors offices, restaurants and shops.
