The Paisley Inn Apartments is a mixed-use development in Bruce County, seeking to closely resemble the historic inn it replaces. The inn was built by the co-founder of Paisley in 1851. It was at peak popularity in the ‘60s and ‘70s, a destination for dining and lodging. Since closing in the 1980s it has sat largely vacant.
The inn will be rebuilt and expanded into a four-storey building comprised of 35 residential units, -including 9 townhomes and 4 penthouse units-and ground floor commercial suites. The intent is to replicate the original front and side elevations as closely as possible, and to design the new elements to complement the historic details and materials.
