Milestone Moment!
We’re proud to announce that we’ve officially submitted the permit application for Sacajawea’s impactful new supportive, affordable housing development for the Indigenous community to be located on Gage Avenue North in downtown Hamilton. This project is more than just a building — it’s a step toward housing security, cultural connection, and community well-being.
A huge thank you to our partners and community members who have helped shape this vision. We look forward to bringing this much-needed space to life!

Part 2: the walkthrough
We are honored to celebrate with Trinity Lutheran as their congregation voted overwhelmingly in favor of proceeding with their new church expansion project! The development is intended to improve the accessibility, functionality, and sustainability of their downtown Hamilton location (at the corner of Wilson and Hughson Streets). This marks the beginning of an inspiring journey to create and enhance spaces which will serve their community for generations to come.

Happy International Women’s Day! 📐
At Invizij, we are making strides in advancing gender equality within architecture. With 100% of the licensed architects at Invizij being women—Emma, Danielle, Natalia, and the newest OAA member, Meaghan—we aim to set a powerful example of leadership and inclusivity!
Today, we are celebrating these wins in gender equality, recognizing the small moments that lead to meaningful change. Whether it’s lifting others up, sharing knowledge, or celebrating the amazing women around us, every step forward matters. Each achievement is a piece of the larger puzzle in breaking barriers. 🧩How is your team celebrating today? 🤍

What an honour! The council house restoration for the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation was just awarded a Governor’s award from the @nationaltrustca . Such an honour to be the architects for this wonderful project. We were able to focus on the cultural heritage of this building to its original governance use. Major upgrades to the building envelope included interior insulation, removing the crawlspace, and resolving moisture issues so it will continue to be a home for the council for the next 100 years.
