Located in Memorial Park, Waterdown, the project provides a refrigerated ice-skating path in a free-form configuration replicating a frozen river with a pond area for young children and beginning skaters. Users will be able to roller-skate on the concrete path-slab during warmer weather. The project includes a small park building for the refrigeration equipment, Zamboni, public washrooms and a small change area, funded by Hamilton and the Rotary Club of Waterdown.
