The development at 95 Dundurn is on a previously undeveloped site, and seeks to create homes and community for Indigenous post-secondary students in the Hamilton area. The compact site calls for creative navigation of significant grade changes, and offers opportunities for plantings along Dundurn Street South. The design team will continue to engage the community, including students and post-secondary staff supporting Indigenous students. Invizij is collaborating with SpruceLab Inc for landscape design and Indigenous engagement. The development is targeting a minimum of 30 beds within a range of unit types to serve families, individuals, and intergenerational living. Barrier free units and amenity spaces will be provided, including a proposed rooftop terrace overlooking Jackson Park.
