Lift Church Renovations

Invizij Architects had the opportunity to lead the full renovation of LIFT Church’s Ministry Centre in Hamilton’s Ainslie Wood neighbourhood. The project involved gutting the existing structure and undertaking comprehensive upgrades including insulation, waterproofing, recladding, new electrical systems, and all new interior finishes. The transformed space now supports both in-person and streamed ministry activities.

The Ainslie Wood site has served as a place of worship since 1917. Over the decades, the building has undergone multiple transformations, including a 90-degree rotation, basement excavation, and a significant addition. Today, LIFT Church runs ministries on seven university campuses across Ontario, with this revitalized Ministry Centre serving as a key hub in their network.
