Emma is a Principal of Invizij and specializes in Housing, work with non-profits, and Sustainable Design. A graduate of both the University of Illinois and Waterloo, she is a registered architect with the OAA and has over 15 years of architectural experience. Emma’s passions in livable small spaces, affordable housing, cycling, and sustainability have shaped her as a designer, where she is driven by values of justice and inclusion. Emma loves visiting the ocean, hiking, food, and gardening and is the founder and current board chair of The Mustard Seed. She is involved in various community-building initiatives in downtown Hamilton and an advocate for laneway housing and Passive House design.

Bob is a Principal of Invizij and specializes in Athletics and Recreational Facilities and Construction Phase Project Delivery. A Registered Architectural Technologist with the OAA and LEED®AP, Bob has over 30 years of architectural experience and his attention to detail has resulted in numerous successful pro-jects completed to the satisfaction of our clients. A certified Minor Hockey coach, Bob is a passionate sports & fitness fan and avid home do-it-yourself renovator.

A Registered Architect with the OAA, Natalia has over 20 years of architectural experience and specializes in K-12 School Projects. Natalia is dedicated to getting the details right and has the ability to listen and collaborate with clients and colleagues.
Natalia earned her Bachelor of Architecture Degree in Ukraine and Master of Architecture Degree in Israel. Worked for Garwood-Jones & Hanham Architects in early 2000, Natalia joined Invizij in 2016 and have since become an indispensable part of our working family.
Ted is a senior technologist at Invizij Architects. His 24 years of industry experience have seen him provide contract documents and contract administration services to a wide range of clients including health care, institutional and commercial clients with complex technical requirements. A creative problem solver, Ted is focused on getting the job done. In his spare time, Ted is an avid motorcycle rider at the racetrack, as well as being a hands-on, do-it-yourself home renovator.
MArch, BAS, OAA, CPHD
Danielle is a senior Architect with over 10 years of architectural experience in Ontario and abroad. She obtained her certification as a Passive House Designer in 2019. She is skilled in all phases of projects from design through contract administration and enjoys working on a wide range of project types and sizes from residential to institutional. Danielle is sensitive to historical, cultural and physical context, and is passionate about community building, sustainable architecture and the conservation of the natural environment. Danielle is also a Master Gardener and volunteers on the planning committees of a couple of community gardens. In her free time, she’ll usually be found either behind a book or in her garden.
Dipl.T (Arch.) Arch. Tech. OAAAS, LEED AP
Sarah is a Senior Architectural Technologist with the OAAAS. She is currently working towards completing her requirements to be a licensed technologist with the OAA. She has over 18 years of experience working in the industry and has been involved in a wide variety of project typologies such as high-rise residential, healthcare, education and athletic facilities. Most of her experience lies in the production and coordination of construction drawings but she has recently added design and project management to her diverse skillset. She is passionate about the environment and in turn about creating buildings and spaces that are sustainable and energy efficient.
In her personal life, she is a wife and a devoted mother to two great kids. In her free time you can find her running at the gym or lounging at the beach.
M.Arch., Intern OAA, LEED® AP
Holland Young is an architectural designer and sustainability consultant who joined the team at Invizij in January of 2020. A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s School of Architecture, Holland enjoys working with clients to identify their priorities and understand their workflow, and then interpreting that information to develop spatial relationships and designs tailored specifically to optimize efficiency and quality of life. She is particularly interested in providing custom solutions for residential, cultural, and academic applications, and is passionate about environmentally and socially sustainable design. Holland is registered as an intern architect with the Ontario Association of Architects and is also an active member of the Hamilton Burlington Society of Architects.

Camilo is an Architectural Technologist graduate from both Design and management programs at Mohawk college, and in which was nominated for the 2018 Premier’s Awards for Outstanding Ontario Collage Graduates. Working for small and large Engineering & Architectural firms in the GTHA, Camilo has developed a passion for sustainable design and the interactions of aesthetics with performance.
Kasia joined Invizij upon completion of her undergraduate studies in 2016 and has excelled in both design, and contract administration. Kasia is a student of the RAIC Syllabus Program, which is a path to become a registered architect while working full time in the industry. Kasia is sensitive about architecture’s influence on daily life and the environment. She is passionate about universal design, sustainable architecture and affordable housing.
B.Arch, LEED ®AP, PMP
Originally a registered Architect in India, Nidhi worked in Dubai for 17 years before moving to Ontario. She has led projects ranging from single family homes to large residential complexes, educational, and commercial projects. Nidhi is skilled in both designing and managing diverse projects. Currently on the path to gaining permanent residency, Nidhi is determined to gain Canadian experience and become a registered architect with the OAA. She enjoys playing volleyball, and badminton, and is currently learning tennis.
M. Arch, CPHD, LEED Green Associate
Juan Gonzalo Soares is a Passivhaus Institut-certified and LEED-accredited architectural designer and educator with over 8 years of experience, rejoining Invizij in 2022 after moving back to Hamilton from Ottawa. Juan was born in Spain and graduated from the Valles Architecture School – UPC in Barcelona. After immigrating to Ontario in 2014, he obtained a Graduate Certificate in Green Architecture from Algonquin College in Ottawa. He is passionate and vocal about regenerative architecture, affordable housing, sustainability, prefabrication, mass timber, and Passivhaus; always looking for opportunities in these fields to make an impact in the design of sustainable and healthy buildings and communities. After work, Juan enjoys riding trails on his bicycle, LEGO builds, and the ever-evolving Ontario craft beer landscape.
Kyle is an architectural designer who joined the Invizij team in January 2021, bringing with him experience in a variety of building types, ranging from small-scale retail to large-scale regional transit and institutional projects. Throughout all projects, he focuses on user experience within the built and natural environments, designing in response to the individuals who will utilize the space. Kyle is passionate about sustainable design and architecture’s integration with landscape.
In his free time, Kyle enjoys escaping the city and exploring nature. He is an avid canoe tripper, venturing across remote Ontario backcountry lakes and rivers.
A graduate of Mohawk College Architectural Technologist Program in 2008, Sara had many years of experience in residential design of single family and multi-family homes within the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area. Since joining Invizij in 2016, Sara has also had the opportunities to hone her skills in institutional work. Sara values the comraderies that form within the team of individuals who collaborate on a project. Invizij’s studio environment has allowed her to expand her knowledge and skills. Sara’s top 3 favorite things (in no particular order) are her husband, her pets and desserts. She also takes part in fundraisers for Greenpeace and the World Wildlife Fund.
Dustin is an Intermediate Architectural Technologist with an impressive track record spanning over 16 years in the industry. With a diverse portfolio encompassing projects ranging from schools and office buildings to condos and townhouse developments, with a mix of renovation and new construction Dustin brings a wealth of experience to the table. In 2023, Dustin joined the team at Invizij, bringing his architectural experience and creative flair to our projects. Notably, he has displayed a keen interest in our initiatives centered around affordable housing, envisioning a future where his expertise can contribute to shaping inclusive communities through thoughtful design. Beyond his professional endeavors, Dustin’s passion for creativity knows no bounds. When he’s not immersed in architectural pursuits, he channels his ingenuity into carpentry, blacksmithing, 3D printing, and even the design of an intricate board game.

Meaghan is an Intermediate Intern Architect with over 6 years of architectural experience on various project types. Her passion for affordable housing began by designing and building a low-cost house with Rural Studio in Alabama, and she continues to work on affordable and supportive housing projects. She is committed to understanding the unique needs and possibilities in each project. Meaghan enjoys broadening her learning, and completed a Masters of Theological Studies which explored the arts and community development. Outside of work she enjoys painting, reading, and teaching English as a Second Language.
Bryce is architectural technologist at Invizij. Bryce has over 12 years of architectural experience at Invizij. Bryce enjoys taking part in the problem-solving discussions in the studio and often comes up with creative solutions. He is familiar with many building types and is experienced with contract documents preparation and contract administration.
As a father of four in the public school system, Bryce approaches K-12 education projects as if they were for his own children. He is familiar with the day to day operations within buildings of this nature and understands the daily challenges faced by teachers, students and parents. In his spare time, Bryce enjoys gaming and doing minor renovations for his large extended family.

Mark was an accomplished architect in South Korea and had designed many fabulous public structures.
Attracted by the vast Canadian landscape and our seemingly endless supply of wilderness, Mark came to Canada in 2015, completed a Landscaping Technician course at Niagara College before joining Invizij. Mark is determined to gain Canadian experience and to become a Canadian citizen by starting from scratch.
Leila has a Bachelor of Architecture from Soore University of Iran and registered as an Architect in 2012. She has 12 years of experience working in Architecture firms in Iran mostly in residential projects. After Immigrating to Canada, she started to study Architectural Technology at Mohawk College and graduated in Dec 2021. Her final project in this program won first place in the OAA Technology Program Student Awards. She started to work as a co-op student in Invizij Architects in 2020 and was hired full-time after her graduation in April 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, playing volleyball and spending time with her family and friends.
Tatiana is an architectural designer who graduated as an architect in 2022 from San Buenaventura university, Colombia. She has worked for several companies within the public and private sector, where she has been able to acquire and develop knowledge in housing projects, interior design and urban planning.
She is passionate about learning new design and construction method. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and travelling with her dogs.
