Hamilton’s first passive house certified ADU, it was pre-certified with PHIUS and designed to live light on the land. With 20 foot ceilings and a modern Scandinavian aesthetic, the one bedroom, one bath has a large loft space/ office. The high performance home has the highest air quality and includes an electric car charger. It was one of the first ADUs on the Hamilton mountain, following the new zoning. Designed for a building scientist, it is an example of how infill is possible on a typical Hamilton mountain site.
