We’re honoured to have our @indwell Cornerstone Suites in Streetsville chosen for the “Healthy by Design” category at the 2025 Mississauga Urban Design Awards tonight!
From the jury comments: “Cornerstone Suites demonstrates how modest infill development can deliver significant social and urban impact…the integration of the building into an addition rather than preserving the individual heritage buildings in situ was a clever solution that both honours and elevates the existing context.”
This recognition honours people who are often sidelined or ignored, especially important during these times when homelessness and its impact are top of mind for many communities. Kudos to the entire design team, especially Urban Strategies (planners), OMC (landscape design), @hobson_heritage , Invizij and Flourish for making these 40 homes a reality. And to Schilthuis Construction, Kalos, CK Engineering, Zon, and Counterpoint for contributing their expertise to make this project a success. We’re thrilled to have our third Indwell building in Mississauga currently under construction this time in the Clarkson neighborhood.
